Faith Vs. Being Crazy

Oscar Levant said “There is a fine line between genius and insanity, I have erased this line”. The same idea applies to having faith and being considered crazy. Take the Florida woman who was running for mayor of North Miami. She claimed to be “endorsed by Jesus”. As a believer, I’ll admit, I kinda of “held my breath” because if she had won, she would have been labeled a “woman of faith” and every pulpit would want this giant of faith. BUT, if she loses need I explain what would happen?
Ultimately, we would love for “the proof to be in the pudding”, but it’s not that so cut and dry in life nor in our faith walk. Faith must be practiced, belief systems must be created and fortified. There is never a dull day in the life of those that are honestly pursuing the heart of God. Let’s just be frank: we will make mistakes, that sick person we pray for may not get healed or that lost loved one may not come to know The Lord as quickly as we would like, but faith anchors the wayward life. Never stop praying, never stop believing, never stop trusting. His Ways are so far higher than ours. To those that put their faith in Jesus – Everything is going to be alright. What He says will happen, will happen!
